Governance
About the Board of Directors
Montessori Peaks Academy is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parent and community volunteers, along with a staff representative. The Board creates and maintains MPA's strategic plan and is responsible for the school's governance: setting policy, overseeing finances, protecting our mission, and hiring and supporting the principal who leads the school day to day.
Mission & Policy
The Board safeguards the school's Montessori mission and sets the policies that guide it.
Oversight
We oversee the school's finances, charter obligations, and long-term planning.
Community Voice
As elected volunteers, we represent our families and gather community input through surveys, public comment at meetings, and the Board's formal processes.
